James Armstrong is a near 30 year veteran of the GIS industry.  Having obtain his Masters Degree in GIS from  NC State in 2012,  last year he retired from public service as the Richmond County Director of GIS to open Spatial-Relationships, a GIS Consultant firm, with his wife (and former CURISA President) Kathryn Brewer. They both now reside in Boston with their two children.
